Omnia quest

A golden rug covers the fields while we travel through the road. The apple trees are just leaves and branches. Many flowers are dry. Pines still have their cones, but they are now open and showing the nuts for us to collect.

The wind has already changed. This strange feeling of certainty that the weather brings is now here, marking the beginning of the season. Todays cicle will be half light and half darkness, today the autumn brings balance and equilibrium, opening the door to coziness. I stand in the nut covered soil, it feels dry in my feet, but still grounds me and takes me to feel the earth in its nucleus. Around me: mountains, trees, birds, wind, clouds. A changing landscape that contains it all, since life through magic. Since magic through death. And in the incipient death of the plants and soil, it also contains the strength for the renewal.

This landscape that is closing the cycle today, has been sustaining growth and life during a complete wheel turn. From the deep roots it sprouted, flourished in spring, got ripe in the summer, and harvested at the end of it, ready to go inside one more time, but with a new experience of life, with a result, which is what today in the equinox we care about, we look back the past year, and can see the products we now have in our hands, in our tables, ready to enjoy and preserve. And this generous harvest is not just about fruits, pumpkins, nuts; we all are harvesting what we planted at the beginning of this wheel.

What did you plant? Emotions, relationships, projects, business plans. Well, this is the time to collect our goods, the consequence of the work we did, the fruits of the emotion seeds we planted, and the benefits of the business that started with a simple idea. Anything you are collecting today, doesn’t matter what, is a product, a fruit, a final manifestation of your energy, so it must be received with deep gratitude and respect.

Let’s take a moment to look one more time around us, take a breathe and acknowledge what we are receiving today. Give thanks for one more cycle of work of life, and observe that the goods are material, are mental and of course spiritual. Taking this time listing what you have created and collected today (can be as long as you need, because surely there are plenty of things to thank for) will ground your soul, and prepare you to transit the brand new wheel that is coming soon.
